For too long, the world has settled for managing symptoms\u2014especially when it comes to the brain. I know this personally: after a brain injury left me unable to remember more than five seconds at a time, I was told there was no hope. Conventional medicine saved my life, but couldn\u2019t give me my mind\u2014or my future\u2014back.<\/p>\n
